Mint Chocolate Matcha Milkshake (Vegan)

This is my version of holiday mints: whip up and bring out a healthy, luscious and energising matcha milkshake.

This doesn’t take long to make, and I can’t tell you how lovely it is to be able to offer an eclectic yet delicious matcha milkshake which tastes like ice-cream, with crème de la crème ingredients 😉

And, this drink will surely give you an energy boost if you’ve been over indulging in booze over the holidays.

What’s in this Matcha Milkshake?

This vegan milkshake is made of  matcha and sweet cacao nibs, an aphrodisiac that will delight your taste buds and give you an energy boost, kick starting your new year. I’ve also added in spinach to give you some greens as some of you may not be eating enough raw greens in the winter.

Matcha Mint Chocolate Mylkshake

This vegan milkshake uses coconut water and coconut meat as the base.


  • 1/4 cup of coconut meat
  • 3/4 cup of coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon of cacao nibs
  • Dash of mint extract
  • 1/4 – 1/2 tablespoon of ceremonial matcha powder
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1 tablespoon of cacao nibs
  • 1/2 cup of ice


  1. Blend all ingredients for a few minutes except cacao nibs till smooth. You can add more coconut meat if you want
  2. Add cacao nibs and blend again for 30 seconds
  3. If you just want a giant bowl of ice-cream, add more coconut meat and put less coconut water
