To reprogram our subconcious mind requires us to be aware of our core beliefs.
We all have belief systems passed down from our ancestors and our family members.
These beliefs may serve or not serve us.
Our beliefs are stored in our body…from the way we walk/move to the way we talk.
And a lot of times when we are trying to finish a goal, our negative core beliefs stop us from the finish line.
For example, negative beliefs like “things are not working out” may block you from achieving your desires.
If you have such negative core beliefs deep in your bones, no matter how hard you work, things may not work out for you.
And, if your “baseline vibration” is based on such negative core beliefs, you may be repelling instead of attracting what it is that you are wanting.
In order to change your core negative belief pattern and reprogram your subsconcious mind, you want to refer to the 4 steps:
1) Acceptance: Do shadow work. Notice and embrace any triggers. Dig deeper and discover the negative core belief you’re holding by observing any recurring themes/patterns in your life and examine what your parents have taught you on subjects relative to money, love, life, career, etc. Such beliefs are usually held deep in your subconscious mind and you may not even be aware of the beliefs because you’ve been thinking such thoughts over and over again. It may require an elevation of consciousness to be aware and “transform” those core beliefs.
You may have to quiet your mind and ask your subconscious what your core negative belief patterns are, if you can’t identity the recurring themes/patterns as well as messages passed down from your parents.
And, working with a coach to uncover such beliefs can be very helpful.
2) Awareness: Once you are aware of your core negative belief, embrace yourself and grieve the pain such negative patterns caused.
While you may want to change the negative beliefs immediately given how much pain such beliefs may have caused you, you may want to accept what is first by grieving the pain such negative beliefs may have caused you.
Because what you resist persist.
The more you resist the past, the more you are manifesting / vibrating from the place of resistance, even if you are doing positive affirmations every day.
This means you are unlikely to change your previous belief patterns and attract new patterns into your life until you have grieved what was.
This doesn’t mean you take on the negative belief for life. It just means that you don’t push against it and yourself.
You can tell yourself “I didn’t know any better, this is what I was taught.” Have compassion for yourself, and grieve.
I believe step 2 is probably the hardest part of the process, and many people try to skip over it. This is why I don’t think affirmations alone work. I believe that you have to reach the space of emptiness
3) Transmutation: Reprogram your subconscious mind: Instead of “things aren’t going to work out”, what about replacing that belief with “things are working out?”
4) Embodiment: Can you embody the new beliefs? How does your body feel with those new beliefs? Embodiment is key.
For example, when you are holding the belief that “things are working out,” your body, i.e. shoulder, back, neck etc., may more relaxed, as you may no longer be in fight or flight mode (i.e., you feel safe).
Feel what it feels like in your body to embody that belief. How would you interact with the world with that new belief?
When you start embodying your new beliefs daily, you will start shifting energetically.
