I only had 5 hours of sleep last night and I needed a pick me up, post workout, to carry me through the day.
So I concocted a new smoothie recipe at the gym’s cafe. I dare to say this maybe my new signature smoothie in the tropics, where an abundant supple of fresh coconut meat and coconut water are available.
This milkshake tastes like ice-cream, yet healthy + light, and will surely give you an energy boost.
If you’re living in a colder climate like New York/London/San Francisco, you may want to refer to wild blueberry smoothie or/and my tropical mango green smoothie (if you can lay hands on some juicy, sweet and luscious mangoes ;))
I’ve found that fresh coconut isn’t always readily available in colder climates and you maybe better off using local fruit like organic orange juice as base instead.
